• Players must follow all Linden Lab TOS while on A.I.A. sims.  Those found violating LL TOS not only risk being banned from all AIA sims but also being reported directly to Linden Labs

• Trolling/Griefing will not be tolerated and players doing so will be removed and banned from the sim with or without a warning.  

​

• Be respectful OOC to other players.  Absolutely NO OOC harassment, bullying,  or threats will be tolerated on sim or anything affiliated with AIA.  Players found harassing others may receive a warning, if the behavior is not changed they risk being banned from the sims.

​

• 18+ Players & Characters only! We do allow the use of NPC & prim babies/children. however all playable characters (avatars) must appear and be 18 or older.  (NOTE: No harm shall come to NPC children but please do not use them as a tool to hide behind.)

• Human avatars only! At this time we are only allowing human avatars with the exception of allowing domesticated pet/animals on a case by case basis.  Questionable avatars may be asked to change appearance to be in compliance with these rules & guidelines. (Please no anime, furry, or childlike avatars - you will be asked to change or ejected from sim so that you may change.) 
   

• Domesticated animals are allowed on sim as per the above rule but must look realistic in size, fur & other appearance.  They can not talk! Any questionable behavior will be brought to staffs attention and subject to action including banning.

• NO Meta / Power gaming! Players are never to use OOC obtained information ICly or use alts to obtain information for another character.  Also, please don’t be that guy/girl who never loses. That being said, you may not ever force actions or write actions for another player.  It is always up to the player how their character feels and reacts. (NOTE: We suggest the use of dice rolls in actions if you need help to determine the outcome.)

• Weapons: ICly TOWNIES are the only ones who /should/ be armed and can carry guns in town, this isn't to say others can't get their hands on something during a scene. Weapon attacks are a two post minimum. Player must post having and drawing the weapon in one post, then may fire/swing/attack in the second. (NOTE: Be mindful that ammo is rather scarce these days and players should write in a way to reflect that.)

• Rental Rules: Rentals are available to ACTIVE and approved players here at AIA.  Residential rentals are locked but once a player is established on sim they can request a rental.  Due to the limitation of size/prim on the parcel at this time rentals are very limited.  Commercial rentals are locked and will need to be applied for.  (Form coming soon if you find a commercial spot you want, please contact KayKay Stine) We also have sim business/factions players can apply to be the lead of.  (At this time please contact KayKay Stine to apply for Lead)

• Proper RP etiquette at all times while roleplaying in A.I.A is required.  Remember to use the /me to emote, wait your turn to post (post order),  and please play out your injuries and illnesses realistically in a roleplay sense. (NOTE: Please do not forget ICA = ICC)

• VOIDING: Please do not void scenes unless there is no other solution.  This interrupts the storyline of other players. Should you feel there is a need to void it is best to contact one of or staff members to help mediate the scene. Be sure that all players are on the same page and in agreement!  

​

• Please be respectful to the limits of other players.  Always get OOC consent before doing serious story altering actions.  Things such as (but not limited to): death, loss of limb or anything were a player would have to alter their appearance NEED consent and communication beforehand.  It is suggested that players list their limits in their profile. (NOTE: Be mindful of your actions if you have strict limits, don’t go on a killing spree if you can’t be killed!)

• Use of NPCs is restricted to one per player based business or faction unless otherwise approved by admin.  Personal NPC bodyguards are restricted. Sim based factions & business have NPC’s in place so please be mindful of them.  It is also asked that players not control another players NPC other then simple service requests such as bartenders serve drinks and so on.  Keep in mind that NPC are an extension of a player and/or business and any use of them should only be done with prior OOC consent. Players abusing NPCs to break into places or get information they shouldn’t risk such being voided from their story and a warning given.

• OOC/OOC GROUP CHAT:  Please keep the ooc to a minimal in local.  Letting players know you have gone or come back from AFKing is fine but please use OOC Group chat or IMs for anything more.  We also ask that players be respectful in our OOC group chat and keep the conversation light and fun. Issues with players or sim should be done in IMs with staff.  We also ask that politics and religion be left out of our OOC Group Chat.

• AFK/Idling: Please be sure if you are going to be away from keys for more than a few minutes that you move your character out of active roleplay.  That being said, if a player happens to be in the roleplay area but is not responding please just act as though they are not there until they return.  We don't mind at all if you idle on sim but if not IC please use OOC title so others know.

​

• Horses & Automobiles:  We are on a trial run with this.  At this time players are allowed to use attachable items such as horses, bikes, and motorcycles as long as they are sim/theme fitting.  Due to the size of the sim automobiles will not be allowed.

​

• Tech/Cyber/Cyborg and other fantasy or futuristic appeal and items are not allowed on sim as they are not in compliance with our sim lore.  This also applies to prosthetics! If a player is wearing one they can not be used in a manner that makes the player stronger, faster or any other way that player gains something over other players without such.
