AIA is a post-apocalypse survival roleplay sim based in the current year (2021).

 

The apocalypse STARTED in the winter of 2014 when an unknown virus swept the globe infecting/killing HALF the world's population within the first year. THE GOV. ALONGSIDE WITH BIG PHARM QUICKLY CAME UP WITH A "CURE" HOWEVER IT BACKFIRED. 

 

NOT ONLY WAS THERE A DEADLY VIRUS WIPING OUT the human race but THERE WAS also A CURE THAT WAS DESIGNED TO STOP THE SPREAD by Altering our DNA IN SUCH A WAY IT BROUGHT THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE OR SOMETHING Of SORTS, BUT NOT AS THE PERSON THEY ONCE WERE.  someTHING MUCH WORSE, SOMETHING INHUMAN - SOMETHING UNDEAD!

 

It's been nearly seven debasing years since the shit hit the fan.  In an effort to sustain in the following years, the survivors did what they could to thrive, forming what is now widely known as the Colonies. trying to rebuild what they were left with. 

 

Cypress Valley, Wa is a small mining town that haD been BOUGHT BY THE FORMER us GOVENMENT AND turned into A SELF SUFFICIENT COLONY DUE TO ITS LOCATION AND AMENITIES;  lOCATED BETWEEN MOUNTAINS, with IT'S own PERSONAL WATER SUPPLY AND ELECTRIC GRID.  WHICH WOULD PROVE imperative FOR THOSE SEEKING REFUGE IN SUCH TIMES.  HAVING WHAT OTHERS COULD ONLY DREAM OF.

 

Those living within the walls of the town thrive in comparison to those on the outside. HOWEVER EVERYTHING COMES WITH A PRICE. THOSE OUTSIDE THE WALLS LIVE IN A LAWLESS STATE DOING AS THEY PLEASE, WHILE THE PEOPLE OF cYPRESS vALLEY MUST OBEY THE LAWS PUT IN PLACE or suffer the consequences. Where it would seem those left should come together there is still a great divide - a wall.
